I’m back in Ontario! I started the day by heading to CTV Ottawa for their Morning Live show. For this segment, Jeff Hopper and I discussed our health claim. Jeff was very impressed to know that eating three grams of beta barley glucan helps reduce cholesterol.

After my interview with CTV, I stopped off at three Ottawa radio stations. I visited with 580 CFRA, 93.9 Bob FM and Majic 100. I gave each of them a basket of baked barley goods and loads of great recipes.
For lunch, Laura Robin of the Ottawa Citizen and I were hosted by prominent Ottawa food blogger, Korey Kealey. Korey hosted us in her kitchen as Laura’s photographer took pictures of everything we sampled.
After our lunch I met with three other Ottawa food bloggers about all things barley. Paula Roy from Constantly Cooking, Katrina Mertikas and Julie Findlay all stopped by.
