Sarah Weigum grew up on a seed farm in Alberta. After graduating from high school, she moved west where she got her feet (and everything else) wet studying English Literature in the beautiful but rainy greater Vancouver area. Following a brief stint working for a Member of Parliament, she decided to seek her fortune in the North, cooking for the oversized appetites of tree planters.
Over the years, she has bounced between east and west, making her home in downtown Ottawa as well as in remote bush camps. It seems she has finally found her equilibrium back where it all began—growing pedigreed seed alongside her parents and writing for various agriculture publications.
